Browser trials are done. As it turns out, thoughts as to MSIE compatability were incorrect. While the site itself would display properly, the menu had "issues".
Please note, beforehand, that 'compatability' does not indicate that the site is coded improperly. Rather, browser developers are usually slow to comply with W3C standards for HTML, as well as standards for Java and other implementations. This results in web designers having to 'workaround' in order to ensure compatability with existing browsers.
Tested and Working on...
----- MSIE v.7 RC-1 ((TRIDENT engine))
----- Opera 9.02 ((PRESTO engine))
----- Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Beta RC-1 ((GECKO engine))
----- Netscape Navigator v.8 ((GECKO engine))
----- Konqueror Browser 3.5.5 ((KHTML engine))
Obviously forward compatability is assumed. ie... Firefox 2.0 will be just fine, etc. etc.
Konqueror compatability implies Apple Safari compatability, provided the version of Safari being used is running the same base KHTML as Konqueror 3.5.5... in short, Safari 2.0.4 should work. But there is no guarantee.
Having covered the 'big 3' widely used engines, as well as Presto, this site has come as close to 'universally compatible' as is possible at this time.
Also, for the few people who may still use the embedded browser skin within America Online's old client software (which ended with v. 9), this software actually does not have its own browser, but, rather, it interfaces with the engine for MSIE version 6. As can be inferred from above, MSIE v.6 is too old, and does not meet the Java Script requirement. Simply installing MSIE v.7 won't fix your issues either, as the AOL software won't "talk" properly with MSIE v.7. In short, AOL is a dead piece of software that has been abandoned by its maker, in favor of a "web-only" service. It is reccomended that you use a true browser for surfing the internet.

A slight editorial on yesterday's News blurb: to be perfectly clear, there is one, tiny, chunk of Java Script in the architecture of the site. It is almost not worth mentioning; but for the sake of being complete.
A simple Java Script allows for scrolled-over menu items to display varying sub-menu options beneath the main menu. However, it is such a simple piece of Java Script that browsers that do NOT have the Java Runtime Plugin installed can still access the full feature/functionality of this script.
On the topic of broswers, this site is working in the following:
- MSIE 5.0 or above
- Opera 9.02 or above
- Firefox 1.5 (1.5 for Linux equates to 1.5 Beta RC1 for Windows, which is similar to 2 for Windows)
We expect full compatability all the way back to Firefox 1.0, but it has not been tested yet. The same goes for Netscape. If anyone is reading this on Netscape 7 or better, or Firefox earlier than 1.5 *nix / 2 Win, then please feel free to supply a functionality report (keeping in mind that all the links are not active yet) to Vince@SpinelliCreations.com. Muchas gracias my little cheekey monkies...

Voila! Presented, to you, is the new SpinelliCreations.com.
WARNING: it's not done yet. The skeleton is up, but none of the links will work. So don't send in '404' errors just yet.
This is somewhat of a leap for the site, as the antiquated and somewhat bloated frame structure has been abandoned in favor of the interopable, smaller (read as: more cost effective), and feature rich HTML 4 spec + Cascaded Style Sheets (as opposed to Embedded Style Sheets).
... and, yes, we validate (see below, confirm at will).
